A little piece of the shoreline, captured in silver. This handmade teardrop pendant takes its inspiration from the intricate texture of a sea urchin shell, translating nature’s delicate lines into a tactile silver surface.
Its elongated teardrop shape offers a simple silhouette that lets the texture take centre stage. Light catches the raised details and recessed lines, bringing depth and movement to the silver, a quiet reminder of coastal walks and treasures found along the shore.
Made from silver clay, a material containing tiny silver particles, water and an organic binder. The clay can be shaped and textured by hand before drying and firing. During firing, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, leaving solid silver rather than ceramic clay or silver plating.
