Handmade from silver clay, this layered pendant brings depth and movement to its coastal-inspired design. The silver shapes curl around the glass, inviting a closer look at the colour nestled within.
Silver clay begins as tiny particles of silver mixed with water and an organic binder, allowing it to be shaped and textured by hand. Once the design has dried, it is fired: the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together to form solid silver. The fired piece is then finished and polished, bringing out the flowing details and the individual character of the handmade design.
