Silver clay is a jewellery-making material made from tiny particles of silver mixed with water and an organic binder. It can be shaped and textured like clay before being dried and fired. During firing, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse together, leaving a solid silver piece, not clay coated in silver. This process allows delicate textures and handmade details to become part of the metal itself.

As each piece is made and finished by hand, small variations in shape, texture and finish are natural, adding to its individual character and handmade charm rather than a perfectly uniform, machine-made appearance.
